Congratulations to our 2023-2024 Spelling Bee Champion, 7th grader, Alex Searson! Alex will represent Perry Schools at the Lake County Spelling Bee on Thursday, February 1st at Hale Road School.
Alex, and runner up, 8th grader, Evangeline Hine, battled fiercely for the championship title, going back and forth for several rounds. Alex won round 35, then advanced to spell the championship word, bilge. Second runner up, 6th grader Liana Ciolli spelled correctly through round 15. Congratulations to all of our Spelling Bee Champions!
