On September 19th the environmental science and health classes worked with the Lake County Health Department to pick up litter that can damage our health and the health of our ecosystem.  In just 45 minutes they cleaned up over 34lbs.  of garbage. The diagram with what was collected is reported to Alliance for the Great Lakes. Students then write a letter to a state representative encouraging them to take action to mitigate this issue.
