Caitlyn is gaining valuable classroom experience this semester through her internship with Mrs. Crum at Perry Elementary School. Although her long-term goal is to become a math teacher, Caitlyn is learning the importance of building strong relationships with students and supporting their learning in every subject. “Caitlyn is a hard worker and will do any task that is asked of her with a smile,” shared Mrs. Crum.

In the classroom, Caitlyn helps run learning stations and tracks student progress during reading time, giving her hands-on experience in instructional support and classroom management. As she looks ahead, Caitlyn is exploring colleges in Ohio with strong education programs where she can pursue her dream of becoming a math teacher.
