Posted Date: 11/25/25 (02:58 PM)
Yesterday, the 7th graders participated in the 3rd annual Greek Olympics. This event culminates their study of Ancient Greece. Events included javelin (pool noodles), discus (Kan-Jam), Temple Building (pop cans), horseback racing (piggyback race), and a collection of other events meant to build community, encourage cooperation and for all to have fun together.
Congratulations to the city-state of Athens for their victory.
In addition to building community at the 'Olympics', the 7th graders were invited to spend time as guests of the senior center. Opportunities to build community included decorating cookies, playing chair volleyball and line dancing.
Thank you to the Senior Center for hosting our students.
