Perry High School and Lake Erie College would like to extend a huge thank you to Lincoln Electric and The Welding School for sending pipe welding instructor Mr. Scott Galippo to the Perry Welding Hub on Friday, March 20th!

Scott shared his expertise with more than 20 of our students, demonstrating ASME pipe, API pipe, and GTAW pipe welding techniques. For the day, our welding booths were transformed into a hands-on, makeshift pipe shop—giving students a truly authentic experience.
The feedback from students was overwhelmingly positive, and it was incredibly valuable to have a new voice in the room to reinforce and expand on key welding concepts.

We’re especially excited to share that one of our seniors is now committed to enrolling in the pipe welding class this May!
