Mrs. James nominated Ibrahim and Diego for the Pirate Spotlight. She saw Ibrahim and Diego notice that another student was struggling with a math assignment. Both Diego and Ibrahim stopped what they were doing and provided words of encouragement along with academic support. Their kindness and compassion for others demonstrates the important characteristics we like to feature in our Pirate Spotlight.    
 
In the future, Diego plans to attend college to study physical therapy or enlist in the Armed Forces. Currently, Diego enjoys playing soccer for the high school and working out.
 
Ibrahim plans to work in the trades and one day operate his own company. In his free time, Ibrahim enjoys playing basketball for the school, going to church, playing the drums, and hanging out with friends.
