Mighty Girls Love Themselves & Others
This week, our Mighty Girls focused on the asset: Mighty Girls love themselves and others 💗
They talked about what that looks like and sounds like—showing kindness, including others, encouraging teammates, and treating ourselves with care and confidence.
Their female athlete of the week was Kerri Walsh Jennings, and they connected her teamwork, positivity, and sportsmanship to how they can show love and support to others.
They were lucky to have three Perry High School volleyball players lead them in practicing bumps and sets, helping them build skills while also modeling teamwork and encouragement.
They also had special visitors from the Perry Senior Center who joined them for a fun game of chair volleyball! It was such a meaningful way for the girls to connect across generations while practicing kindness and inclusion.
We are so proud of our Mighty Girls and the love they are showing to themselves and others!
Special thanks the volleyball players, Caleigh Royko, Eden Nakel, and Emmaline Avery!
