Welcome Back!

Perry Middle School

Perry Middle School Building
Dear Perry Middle School Families,

Welcome to a new and exciting school year at Perry Middle School! As I begin my second year as principal, I am honored to continue serving a learning community where every student is inspired to achieve personal excellence, pursue world-class standards, and grow into a self-directed, lifelong learner. Our vision is not just a statement—it’s a commitment to helping each student discover their unique strengths, take pride in their
achievements, and strive for continuous growth, both academically and personally.

At Perry Middle School, we believe that excellence comes in many forms. Whether your child is excelling in the classroom, participating in extracurricular activities, or making a positive impact in the community, we are committed to helping every student set high goals and achieve them. Our dedicated staff will continue to challenge, support, and encourage each student every step of the way. Together with our families, we will build on the successes of the past year while providing a safe, engaging environment where curiosity is encouraged, perseverance is celebrated, and leadership is nurtured.

We value the partnership between home and school and encourage you to stay actively involved in your child's educational journey. By fostering curiosity, encouraging questions, and supporting your child as they explore new opportunities, you play an important role in their growth and success. At Perry Middle School, we are committed not only to academic achievement but also to helping students discover their strengths, develop confidence, and become thoughtful contributors to their school and community. We look forward to another outstanding year of learning, growth, and achievement and are excited to see all that our students will accomplish together.

Warm Regards,
Dr. Chris Basich
Principal, Perry Middle School

Culture Playbook

At Perry Schools, we embrace a culture that is deeply rooted in our mission to inspire all students to achieve personal excellence, pursue world-class standards, and become self-directed, lifelong learners. Our Culture Playbook guides how we think, act, and interact every day. We believe in the Pursuit of Greatness—starting with understanding our “why,” pushing boundaries, and committing to growth for as long as it takes. We strive to be Better Every Day, recognizing that consistent effort and reflection lead to continuous improvement. Through the Power of Relationships, we prioritize respect, open communication, and the belief that every person matters. We are Stronger Together when we collaborate and support one another, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of Personal Responsibility—looking inward, owning our actions, and choosing to be a positive influence. By living out these beliefs and behaviors, we ensure that every student is not only achieving success now, but is also truly Prepared for Life—equipped with the skills, mindset, and character to thrive in any future path they choose.
