Ash Skorich-Pastva
Ash was nominated for the Pirate Spotlight by Mrs. Olix. Earlier in the week, Mrs. Olix saw Ash pick up cups off the ground and throw them away by the drinking fountain. This little act makes a big impact on the appearance of our school, and it is impressive to find students like her who care about the condition of our facilities.
Ash is in her senior year. After high school, Ash plans to pursue a career in art. She currently works after school at a local restaurant, Ang's Smoke. In her free time, Ash likes to be outside, hang out with friends, and listen to music.
Josgart Martinez
Josgart was nominated for the Pirate Spotlight by Mr. Platt. At the homecoming dance, Jos found a valuable lost item and turned it in. He was completely unselfish in this act and helped return something significant to one of his peers. Josgart is a great representation of the character we hope to build in every student!
Josgart is a freshman at Perry High School. He is a member of the football team and band. After high school, he would like to pursue a career in welding. Jos likes to be outside and enjoys playing games with friends and family.
