Last week, the 6th graders participated in a Field Expedition to two local parks. In science class, the students planned a scientific investigation to compare aspects of Lake Metroparks' Hogback Ridge Park and Thompson Ledges Township Park. They also spent time learning about and observing two different kinds of rock formations, Chagrin Shale and Sharon Conglomerate Sandstone. Once they returned to the classroom, the students created research posters to share their findings.
