7th Grade Biomes

Our 7th grade scientists completed a multi-week research project on biomes. The students fulfilled the role of scientists in the fields of meteorologists, biologists, and ecologists. The students were assigned biomes in specific locations around the world. They researched the plants and animals that live there, the abiotic factors that affect the area, and the ways all the organisms interact. One goal of this project is to understand how organisms are adapted to survive their environment. The research concluded with a 3D model of each of their biomes. The projects turned out incredible!
