PEEPS Candy Bags for the Homeless

Mrs. Darnell's PEEPS class brought in their own Halloween candy to create bags for the homeless.

Students have been reading books and watching videos, learning about homelessness and the many reasons people become homeless. They talk about how to safely help others that are struggling and understanding empathy. Most seemed very happy to share their Halloween candy, knowing it would make others happy.

They were able to fill 8 huge Tupperware containers with Halloween candy. The candy along with student created "cards of kindness" will be distributed in Cleveland and surrounding areas by Little Annie’s Hope Train
