Perry Local Schools is pleased to announce that the Board of Education has selected Todd Porcello to be the next superintendent, effective August 1, 2025.
“I’m beyond excited and humbled to serve as the next superintendent of Perry Schools,” said Porcello. “As a proud member of this community, it means so much to me to have the opportunity to serve in this new role. I look forward to the continued work with our board, staff, students, and families to support every student’s journey.”
Mr. Porcello has served as the principal of Perry High School since 2012 and prior to that was Assistant Principal at Perry High School and the Athletic Director for Cardinal Schools.
The Perry Board of Education held their final round of interviews on April 1st. “The Board of Education is pleased to welcome Todd Porcello as our new superintendent,” said School Board President, Nikki Trefzger. “We were fortunate to have an exceptional pool of candidates, and Todd’s commitment to our community, student-focused leadership, and strategic forward thinking truly set him apart. We are confident that his leadership will continue to drive excellence and innovation in our schools, and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on our students, staff, and community.”
The Board has expressed its intent to formally hire Mr. Porcello at their meeting scheduled for April 2nd at 5:45pm.
