Procedure to Register

ATTEND MEETING
All students & their parents interested in CCP should attend the meeting on January 18, 2024 at 6:00pm in Goodwin Theatre. Intent to participate forms will be distributed and due April 1, 2024.

APPLY
After submitting the Letter of Intent to Participate form, students apply to the college(s) they wish to take CCP classes through. Each student must complete an online CCP application for each college and let the Guidance Department know so a transcript can be sent.

TEST
Students must complete an assessment exam (ACT, AccuPlacer, etc.). Scores must indicate college readiness in at least one subject area. Students make arrangements with the college to complete testing if they do not already have a qualifying test score. College may have additional admission criteria.

REGISTER
If the student is accepted to the college, they must meet with their PHS counselor to discuss course choices and also meet with the college advisor to register for CCP classes. It is the student's responsibility to make sure they are getting into classes if they plan to take them on college campus.

TEXTBOOKS
CCP course textbooks are paid for by Perry Local Schools and must be returned to the college at the end of each semester's exam week. Failure to return textbooks may result in the student being charged for each textbook.
